Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram

"The Hertzsprung-Russell (H-R) diagram shows the absolute
magnitudes of stars as a function of their spectral class, which
is related to their temperature. Most stars fall along a diagonal,
the main sequence, that extends from cool, dim red dwarf stars
to hot, bright blue giant stars."
