THREE EDITORIALS
Site Ed. Note: Because we have gotten behind on the 1956 summaries, we are skipping ahead and each week will provide one summary until we catch up.
The front page for this date is here and the editorial page is here. As a bonus, we include an inside page, in which Dorothy Ricker, 63, a nationally syndicated teenage adviser, responds to one of her many letters regarding Elvis Presley, stating her belief that he was not worthy of the term "entertainer", that his whole performance was "crude and disgusting", and ventures her guess that he would soon be forgotten and his "short-lived popularity" would be "a good thing for all concerned!" You can take her advice to the bank and bet your entire fortune on it.
