Letter from W.T. Crouch, Director of the U.N.C. Press, to one of Cash's most admired contemporary writers, Ellen Glasgow, regarding her letter of praise of The Mind of the South. Crouch invited Cash to speak in April at the old Bull's Head Bookshop in Chapel Hill and Cash obliged. In the audience was a young Joseph L. Morrison, recently graduated from the University, who would 26 years later author the first biography of Cash, Southern Prophet, Knopf, 1967
